I very much liked the simple, un-fussy atmosphere, like an old fashioned pensione; the situation was superb, with the Pantheon outside my window. But I thought it was too expensive for what it was - €170 a night is a lot for a very unpretentious place. - Fantastic room, not in the actual hotel. View of Panthenon, wow! Good security.

We spent 4 nights in Rome and Hotel de Teatro became our home-away-from home. Great location near Piazza Navona and Campo di Fieri.
