  Small boutique hotel with Italian Renaissance decor. Updated bathrooms, though small by American standards, had many unique features not usually seen in hotels in the usa. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes great pride in the attention to the details of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very near top attractions and local cafés. I ... what people say » have stayed there 5 times over the last 5 years, and appreciate the unique and lush appearance of the hotel, but if you are into large spaces and cont - Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

The deal we got for the hotel on LetsBookHotel.com was very good, and it was fantastic to have air conditioning, a comfortable, clean room, and a pool.   It was a good location but difficult to find. We needed better directions since no one we asked and our gps were not helpful in finding the street address. The 2 staff members there were pleasant, very helpful and kind, Breakfast was amazing and they even set the dining room breakfast up early for us because we had to leave early for our flight. -... what people say » The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.   This apartment was fantastic. Great location 1block from Metro station between termini and colosseum, great area with lots of restaurants etc, always happining. Great for day or evening stroll to colosseum and forum sites. The apartment was very comfortable and 'as advertised'. Absolutely perfect for a family of 4 (master king bed, separate room with 2xtwin). Would also work well for tw - Tip Top Location. 10mins from the rail terminus dragging our cases. Wonderful shop nr the metro station 3mins walk. A nice eatery 56 steps away. The best ice cream in Rome a few footsteps further. 100 meters further you see the colosseum. The only time we used the metro was for the Vatican 1.5 euros away, one change, 20mins. VERY quiet apartment. Handy enough to nip back to for a siesta when we started melting. And upload your facebook pics via free wifi. Just what you need for a city break.
