There is a supermarket in the Termini, you can buy food and all the things you need. They do cleaning everyday.   The room is right next to the Station Termini. The surrounding area was safe. The room has air-condition (important in summers) and is completely sound proof for a restful night sleep. The bathroom (shower) was large enough that two people could fit, which from my experience seems uncommon for bathrooms in Italy.   The staff is nice and will make you feel welcome. The rooms are OK. It's a 5 minute walk from Termini train station and city centre is not far away. Breakfast is decent.   I had to stay in Rome for two days only and I decided to spend the night there because of the location (close to the Termini Station: buses, metro, trains). No need to pay more to stay close to the Colisseum or Vatican City, the Metro will take you there or you can walk, you will have something to spot every two blocks!
