The modern design in an old building was very creative. Owner Patrize was there to answer questions and make good recommendations for touring and eating out. Great market across the street. We stayed for 3 nights and used it as a base for touring Cinque Terre and Portoverne. Enjoyed time in evenings walking around LaSpezia.

  The location is good if you travel with a car because it's the ideal place to stop and then continue to Cinque terre the next day. The room was clean and overall ok; it also had a little kitchen.   Very nice and helpful staff. The hotel is in close proximity to La Spezia's beautiful harbor and boats to Cinque Terra and Portovenere. Also, the very nice city center is close by with excellent, inexpensive pizzerias.
