  The hotel was lovely and the staff were very helpful. We got lost in the car and I called the hotel for directions and one of the hotel staff came out to our location and showed us the way. They provided us with a map of La Spezia and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The room was bigger than expected; we had booked a triple room and both t... what people say » he beds were double ones. It had a really cosy feel about the place. Lovely! - The staff were terrific. Friendly and helpful. The owner's nephew even drove us to the train station when he realized our Italian was not up to negotiating our way on the bus! We would have loved to stay longer. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was fine. We loved this locanda.
