The staff were friendly, helpful and honest. I accidently left my camera bag (with a lot of valuable equipment) in the lobby overnight and they had it set aside for me in the morning (with everything still in it).

  The owner, Maria Laura, was delightful and helpful. She did want to know the time of arrival, because she is not always at the B&B. When we arrived, she welcomed us and showed us our room, which was stylish and had a modern bathroom and large wardrobe for storage. She showed an array of biscuits, yogurt, cheese spread, nutella, jam, and juices... what people say » for breakfast in the room. Upon check-in, she was like a travel guide and gave us dining recommendations (as we arrived on a Monday, when most restau - Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very clean newly fitted rooms. only 3 minutes down the road from the station. Maria was more available than other reviews suggest and 'Googled' for information for us when needed! Using English was not a problem. Someone had written out every single train time from La Spezia to Cinqueterre from 7.30 am to 1 am next day for us before we arrived.   The manager, Simon takes a great care of the guests and ensures that everything is ok. You get a key to the property and you can come and go how you want. You can leave the hotel so early in the morning for next destination as you need, then the payment is already done and you just leave the key in the box. Everything was as descriped in the hotel information at the we - the owner has been extremely nice and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and has everything you need. 5 mins walk from the train station and 10-15 mins walk to the waterfront. Although there's no reception in the residence, the owner will greet you personally as long as you let him know when you'll be arriving.
