The rooms are not cheap, but nothing in Europe is; however for the price, you are getting a wonderful stay during your time in Lucca.   We were met at the door by a member of staff who was extremely friendly and helpful with good information about Lucca. Later we had an issue with a door handle which was dealt with promptly. In addition to the kind staff, and nice accommodations, we had one of the best dinners of our trip through Italy at Villa Cheli!
