We stayed at many nice places during our travels through italy, but none as interesting and fun as this. We loved the feel of this place and the mix of preserved original elements of the building with the new (but still in theme) high quality finishings to provide the perfect level of comfort and atmosphere. We felt like the b+b itself was the main attraction in Lucca and were very glad we picked it over slightly less expensive options we had looked at. Breakfast was great and the dining room (.

The B&B is located in the historic centre, literally steps away from restaurants, cafè and the main attractions. The room was beautifully restored and well furnished, offering a charming medieval atmosphere and also all the modern comforts. Simona is a friendly and delightful person. Loved everything. That we didn't stay another night!. Nothing. Bed was too short for my other half who is 6'4". you cannot arrive with your cat at the B&B as it is in the medieval city centre, the parking is close 5' walking. nothing. Paper thin walls and a very tiny shower, but what do you expect from a building hundreds of years older than you?. mattress was a bit firm. I was happy with everything. Small shower, but worked fine. nothing.
