Very close to all attractions even though it is stated in a quite street which is a plus for a good night sleep. Clean room, friendly stuff and It is 10 minutes of walk from the main train station. I would like to note that the hotel is the second floor of an historical building. The rooms are spacious (We had a triple room). The lift is very small. Not suitable for disabled people with wheelchair.

Hotel was newly renovated and clean. Hotel staff were very helpful to our questions. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience not staying in a hotel chain but an actual unique hotel. It is very centrally located near the train station, all of the tourist stops, plus very near to open markets. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again if ever in Florence.The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were modern and very clean, internet service was available, and the staff made excellent recommendations for restaurants. The location was outstanding - a block from the Duomo and other major attractions, as well as walking distance to the train station. The hotel was quiet and without street noise. Couldn't be easier to find or more comfortable to stay in. I was there in January, the off season so the prices were particularly attractive. And, there are many fewer travelers there so the lines are non existent at the galleries. A green and red flashing light on the wall of our room (No.4) which disturbed my daughters sleep. Other than that, the hotel was perfect.Chambermaid started cleaning room while we were at breakfast and onreturning to the room we had to wait outside for her to finish but shedid apologise!. A small terrace would have been excellent - our twin room was alittle small. Small elevator - but this is reaching for something.The only negative could be for disabled travelers. The elevator can only accommodate one person and two large pieces of luggage at one time. For my family and I the flights of stairs were not a problem.nothing bad to issue here. the elevator is small but who cares.Only thing was the shower doors opening out both ways, the floor tendedto get wet, but we managed by using an extra towel on the floor underone of the doors.Need to add complimentary wifi connection in rooms. very small lift. Signage to get there was not all that clear, but then again it is Italy!. The breakfast on day 2 was a bit poor!. The staff forgot to mark down I had paid my tour but they did not make a fuss.very difficult to find even with GPS, no parking, parking service 24Euro/day. Overweight tourists complaining about the size of the lift- get out andwalk up the two flights of stairs, it'll do you good!. 1. no lift to 3rd floor, hard for visitors with many luggages. small cabin of the lift. On one day we were omitted from the maid service but the problem was quickly rectified once brought to their attention.the room was not properly cleaned: the sheets were not changed 3 days of our stay, when all the rest was cleaned. the shower can't be regulated (you can't take it into hands-only you have to adopt yourself under the jet of water). The beds were not extremely comfortable, they could definately use somenewer, firmer beds. Breakfast was ok, but could have been better. Therooms were good, adequate, but nothing special. All in all this is agood 3 star hotel in a great location in florence. Just be sure toGoogle the location before you arrive if you are unfamiliar withFlorence so you can orient yourself. Wifi should be free.Slight grime on the ceiling, although this was not a big deal. Although the location is good the hotel is located on a side street and may be difficult to find for the first time especially if you are by foot. Get good directions if you are walking.Rooms walls are a bit thin and sound travels through the vents. Had an annoying guest neighbour who had tv on loud til very late in the night.Not suitable when travelling with a lot of luggage. only stairs between first and second floor. Very tiny elevator. Hotel not suitable for disabled people.I had to leave the baggage for half of the day before departure. There was no seperate space to keep the baggage, so I had to put it next to the free internet use provided by hotel. At the end nothing happened, but it made me quite nervous until I come back and find my baggage.The entrance was hard to find. It was a side entrance with not much to inform you that you were at the correct hotel. You had to take a very small elevator up to the 2nd floor to check in. It was difficult to figure out if you were in the right place when you were at the ground (street) level. They did have a sign at the ground level with not that much information on it in Italian.Poor breakfast from, the quality of food is not so good....everything from long-term saving food.WHEN FIRST TIME THERE IN THE EVENNING IS A LITTLE IN ADVENTURE,IF THE WEBSITE EXPLAIN THE RECEIPTION IS ON THE SECOND FLOOR THEN I WILL NOT BE SUCH IN WONDER.AND HOPE THEY CAN CHANGE THE SHOWER FACILITY,THE WATER IS REALLY COMES OUT TOO SMALL VOLUME TO CLEAN MY LONG HAIR,.
