I booked a single room without bathroom so you can imagine my surprise when I was offered an appartment instead! It was big, quiet, and fully equiped. Rooms in 4 star hotels aren't even half as good! The guy at the reception was unbelievably friendly, he helped me with the luggage, printing a plane ticket and even exchanged me a few british pounds without asking for a fee. Definetely go there!.

The entire staff went out of their way to make our stay in Florence a very special experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable and homey. The staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent (breads, cheeses, yogurt, juices) our room was clean and very large, towel warmers were nice for drying the laundry we hand-washed, free internet access in the lobby was a nice amenity, and the location could not have been better (near Duomo. Everything. We have stayed at the Bellettini from 1994 to date and knowstaff well. We have recommended it to others who have confirmed ourview. And as far as location (for sites, restaurants, shopping andtravel) is concerned, it cannot be bettered. A wonderful place.Everything - I cannot praise this hotel highly enough. We had a large group and all the arrangements were taken care of - it is in a perfect location and I will be definitely coming back to this hotel again. Great location! The air conditioner was out of order for the first five days of my stay. I needed to open the window at night but noise from external air conditioners and fans located in the adjacent 'well' made sleep difficult. The lift doors did not close sufficiently well automatically, so one frequently had to use the stairs.Bathroom was a wet room - lack of drainage meant mopping after shower with towels. No, one of the best and most comfortable hotels I stayed in while in Europe.Would have liked electric kettle in room. However they provided a jug of boiling water on request. the bathroom was a bit chilly. No parking but deal with garage arranged with discount 24 hour rate.(Probably the same at most florence hotels). The entrance is unpleasant.Bathroom lay out is weird. Not handicap accessable which might be aproblem for some people. Small and old elevator.stream of water in the shower was not very strong.
