  The staff went to great lengths to make us happy. For example, we needed to catch an early flight which meant we needed to leave the Hotel at 4:45am, breakfast was not served until 7:00am however, 30 minutes after their wake-up call they called again telling us that Breakfast was ready for us. It's a great hotel with a professional staff that took the time to "personalize" our experience. Great restarants close by within walking distance. I'll come back again next time!

  The location near the airport is nice for early morning flights. The rooms are clean and good size. The bartender Stefano is cool, and the front desk reception was helpful and nice. It was just outside of Venice but they had adaily shuttle that ran everyday so that made it extremely easy. Westayed here two nights before the airport back home and it was a greatidea. They also had a shuttle to and from the airport..sweet. Greatservice and they actually gave a boxed breakfast before our earlyflight. They rocked.

  We were impressed by the warmth and hospitality and helpfulness of the owner/concierge. He speaks English, and kept the front desk open late (after 10 pm) so that we could check in late. Our plane landed at 10 pm at the Venice Marco Polo Airport and we called the hotel as soon as we arrived to ask him to stay open until we could arrive. He did. He provided a map o - Excellent place to stay when visiting Venice. Large comfortable room, good bathroom, good breakfast with fresh fruit, fresh everything, including eggs cooked specially for you. Very helpful and friendly welcome, which continued throughout the stay. Leave the car at the hotel parking, there are two bus lines, one opposite the hotel, the other 5 minutes walk (bus ride is approx 15 minutes).   Hosts Attilio and Luciane were most gracious in helping with info on transportation into Venice, restaurants, Laundromat, etc. We were in the ground floor apt. with secure, gated parking on premise. The front door bus stop 19, which for 15 to 20 minutes takes you to the train station and bus linni and water lines, there is an information center that can quickly and easily buy tickets or cards. From there the number 1 you can discover almost all of Venice. The hotel is grown, clean, well equipped and quiet place. The restaurant recommended to us by our hotel was the best of our entire trip - Restaurant - Pizzeria - Capolinea.

Stephano, the proprietor, went out of his way to accomodate me. The Number 5 bus both to Venice and to airport stops nearby. I booked it from the internet on a leap of faith because I was stranded due to Italian strike. Felt I lucked out.

  The price was extremely reasonable, especially after two nights in San Marco. We had an early morning flight from the airport so wanted to move out of the San Marco area the evening before our flight. Bella Onda was minutes from the airport. There is no staff on site but there was a intercom at the front door so that we could contact them as soon ... what people say » as we arrived. They were very helpful getting us settled into our rooms. Breakfast things were available in the room so that we could eat even though - Our mroom in this B&B was completely self-contained. We arrived late on a flight into Venice airport, and we were met at the terminal, and it was only about a five minute trip to the Bella Onda B&B. We were shown to the room, which was large with one bed, and a table set for our breakfast. There was an adjacent kitchen with cold items in the refrigerator (butter, cheese, yogurt) and tea/coffee making facilities. We enjoyed being able to take breakfast without having to leave our room.   It was very clean and noise free. Only thing missing is mentioning how to reach the hotel by Bus from Venice St Lucia. It would have been really helpful. - The room was very clean and modern. Good breakfast in the morning, and they will make your favorite type of coffee right there for you.
