The reception staff who we dealt with were friendly and very helpful. We actually arrived at the wrong Travelodge Hotel not realising there were two in Limerick and the lady at reception sorted out a transfer to the hotel we were at as it was nearer to a conference I was attending.
I really liked the location of Eddie Rockets attached to the hotel.

Very friendly reception, great adjacent cafe, nice clean large rooms and when something had gone wrong with the room reservation, it was fixed immediately.
Also, towels were missing and we got them within a few minutes brought up personally.
Good value for money and close to University of Limerick(place of
business purpose). The restaurant next door was good value for money
staff were very friendly and pleasant and the food good. Very good idea
having a printer.
For Travelodge, this property is more like a hotel than the usual budget-style Travelodge. Though located a bit outside the city, it's perfect for anyone visiting the University of Limerick.
good views from top floor looking away from town. had a problem with the shower no hot water, staff where very prompt and helpful, and moved us into another room with even better views.

I stayed in that hotel already more times and like the simple, but comfortable rooms and the friendly staff. It is reachable well, when I come from Dublin airport by bus.

There was no face towel..no mat,to stand after getting out of shower..my husband have to used the hand towel to stand on..he was in wheelchair..and not easy.. limited towels..to used..3 adults only 2bath towels and 2 hand towels..2mugs and 2 glasses..
The toilet did not flush properly(Room 315), the room was to warm with
very little ventilation, and the mattress I feel was well worn and could
do with being replaced. I did not like it when I had to pay €1.50 to
print 4 pages when I was told it would be 20cent per page.

Was here in the July 2013 heatwave on the third floor with a full glass
wall window..was like being in a glasshouse...over 30 degrees in the
room!Reception had no fans!Window opened an inch so no air...had to
leave my door open to create a draft.. That didn't work either
ha...once in a decade weather so don't let it put you off :).
Charged internet in rooms but free in lobby. Silly in this day and age.

I don't like the fact that in triple rooms, the third person has to sleep on a couch bed. A single bed would be much better. Also, they knew three people would be staying yet only provided 2 cups for coffee/tea. I asked for a third and it never came.

From Shannon Airport/Galway: Take the N18 to Limerick, follow sign for N7 Dublin road. The hotel is located on the Dublin road, side of the city. At the parkway round about follow the Dublin road, after the traffic lights keep to your left, hotel entrance is on the left.
From Dublin, take the N7 to Limerick, the hotel is located on this side of the city, at the Groody roundabout take the 2nd exit, keep to the right hand lane, you will see the hotel on the right.
From Cork/Kerry, take the N20 to Limerick, the new ring road has made it easily accessible. Take the Waterford/Tipperary Exit, turn left at the traffic lights, at the roundabout turn right, you will see signs for Castletroy and the University of limerick, at the Groody roundabout take the 2nd exit, keep to the right hand lane, you will see the hotel on the right.
