Have been travelling and staying in Hotels in Dublin for many years, First time that I have used this hotel The location is bang in the centre of Temple Bar.Everything you would expect in a Capital City but while this hotel would not be my favourite I would still recommend it to couples who want to Enjoy all that a vibrant city can offer the Hotel is Different very with it well appointed rooms, bars, and dinning facilities, shopping to suit every style a relaxed well managed hotel but more for .
all reviews » Excellent location, on the fringes of the main bar area at Temple Bar. My room was huge, containing a large double and two single beds, this was not an 'upgrade', I had paid for a non refundable room in advance. Staff all friendly and very helpful, in particular the girl who checked me in, didn't get her name, but she's off to Ibiza on holiday shortly! Lovely courtyard out back with waitress service (food and drink) and where smoking is permitted. Highly recommended. The reception staff were fantastic. Both myself and husband were on our own respective Christmas parties and I informed reception that my hubby would be joining me when I went to bed. As my husband is not Irish I wrote the name for the night concierge. He welcomed my husband in his native language using his full name and confirmed his wife had retired to bed. He felt a million dollars. The small touches make such a huge difference. Thank you x. Everything was great about the hotel apart from it looks a bit tired and needs money spent the wood at the bottom of the bedroom door was coming away, the table was chipped, the seat of the chair soiled, the heating on the tap was going the wrong way si when you turned it too cold you got hot. The lightbulb was broken im the bedside lamp and he menus in tje restaurant were all shabby.. apart from that excellent!. I stayed there for business just one night. Super central, you can't go wrong. Nice decor, helpful staff, nice room. When I got there, I was looking for a quiet room to have a conference call and they gave me and my colleague a whole meeting room(free of charge): very nice of them!! Decent breakfast. I'll definitely stay again. Perfect location to downtown Dublin. The staff was excellent and helpful during a very unusual heatwave in Ireland, working hard to make sure the building was cool. We had exceptional service from Bevin who worked at the front desk. She helped us in so many ways, making us feel very at home in Dublin and at the hotel. really enjoyed the ambiance and the location! the beds were amazing decor and the ladies toilet s beautifully decorated... very relaxing stay! definately will be back! and will recommend to others.... staff very plesant and helpful ....thanks to all staff wonderful stay! :). The Morgan is trendy and beautifully designed. Foyer, restrooms and bedrooms all gorgeous. Very clean too. Staff were lovely, girl on reception at check in and check out was very friendly and pleasant. Ideal location if you are going for shopping and/or nightlife. The location is great - very fun to stay in Temple Bar. It gets loud at night, but they kindly provide ear plugs. It wasn't a problem for us since we took full advantage of the nightlife. The design of the hotel is fun, modern and funky. Overall a great stay!. This hotel has it all! Ive done a fair bit of travelling and can honestly say the staff at the Morgan are the best. Genuinely interested in their customers. Stylish modern surroundings. Big and comfortable. I'll be booking the penthouse when I return. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The location in Temple Bar was great for being able to step out and find great restaurants. The staff were polite and wanted to help in any way they could. So overall a great stay. This hotel has everything location, friendly and helpful staff and good food. The bedrooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean I will be recommending it to all my friends. The location of the Hotel is fantastic, right in Temple Bar with pubs, restaurants and tourist sightseeing all within easy walking distance. Room clean and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. That the sink in room 326 did not drain correctly. No room in the in-room refrigerator for any personal items. Slight problem with the payment of one of the bills where a card was charged twice but this was soon rectified. The Hotel is NOISY. They even give you earplugs in a comfort kit in the toilet. There is a night club on the Hotels first floor. You are in the midst of the Temple Bar area of Dublin. Several Rowdy Bars nearby. This area of Dublin reminded me of Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Fleet street is one way so it was difficult to get to via GPS guidance. Breakfast need to be charged at 15 euro...A little bit expensive for student friends to go. The hotel has a bar/club which you could hear easily, we were on the 3rd floor!!. loud at night- we stayed on second floor and it was still loud until like 1 am. Weekends I can imagine would be a nightmare because of being so close to Temple Bar. Everything in the room is in white, and it is hard to keep it clean...so lots of spots on the floor and the furniture. Lighting is terrible, could hardly see our way down the corridor, and the walk in robe was pitch black, had to use a torch to find the safe. Terrible lighting in the lift, couldn't see the buttons. My room was cold and couldn't find a way to regulate it. The corridor was a bit dark. reception never explained there were 2 lifts. so we couldnt find our room once checked in. Having to leave. view was not so great. I didn't like that the shower had not been cleaned from the guest before. The shower had a bottle that was open and left. The other problem was the TV quit while watching it and I never could get it back. The next morning it still didn't work. No air conditioning but a fan was supplied in the room. We could open the windows but noisy at night. Bathroom a little tight on space. Room cleaned the next day,mini bar not refilled with water.had to ask for extra toilet rolls,and face cloths. Noisy on Sunday night, but we had expected that as the hotel is in the middle of Temple bar. Cold rooms Friend froze all night so had to change rooms. Mine also cold but not as... third room great. The bar - way too noisy, too trendy & too cool for school. The corridors & inside the lift are too dark. Bathroom stunk of cigarette smoke, bit noisy at night but we were too tired for it to disturb our sleep. Cocktail prices were a little pricey - One of the bar staff was quite rude. Expensive - would have liked a few extras that were free, such as water, packets of tea and coffee, or small refreshments. Room a little small. If you wanted to sleep before 1.30am on a Fri, Sat or Sun you wouldnt have much chance due to the DJ in the hotels bar. The lift etc and hallways are rather dark so this might be an issue for some people. no problem. More info could have been given on the parking at time of booking. It was really easy and local in the end but we weren't completely sure of where to park on arrival. There is some street noise. People should realize the hotel is in the heart of Temple Bar, and there will noise at night. It did not bother us, but it may be a consideration for anyone who is a very light sleeper. I honestly didn't notice the noise,and it didn't bother me at all. A bit noisy outside but that's to be expected when you choose to stay in temple bar area. poor attention to finishes and furniture in the rooms.
