l stayed in temple bar hotel the week after it opened in the 1990's. It is in a great area, near the stop for the bus for the airport and you can wal to most of the city. The staff and service are very good and nothing is too much trouble. Its so near everything and it's clean comfortable and a perfect place to stay if you're on you're own if up for business during the week.The first thing we met were the desk staff who were exceptional very courtious nothing was too much bother..fair play to them...
all reviews » The staff at the Temple bar were very polite and the Hotel in very clean and through out. i would stay again in this Hotel. Very convenient location, clean comfortable room, friendly staff, free wi-fi - what more could one want?. Everyone was so friendly and it definitly suited us as we were going to the rhiana concert in the R.D.S. Easy access to all of dublin. Hotel staff very friendly and efficient. Food was very good . The place was close to everything we wanted to see and the food was really good. Staff was exemplary! Went out of their way to make sure our problemwas solved. very central and easy to find. close to everything we wanted to see and do.The decor was beautiful, great location, and the breakfast was delicious!. excellent position for places of interest and night life. the hotel is located right in the centre of Dublin. The central position all avenues were easy to reach. Obviously there is noise but you cant expect anything else when you are staying in the Temple Bar area. Being such a compact city, the location was pretty much in the middle of the city and a great base - close enough to walk back to if you forget something etc. The location was great for both shopping and night life. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious for a city centre hotel. The food was excellent and I would certainly stay at this hotel again.We very much appreciated that when we arrived at the hotel very early in the day, not expecting to have our room until 2.00pm. and were allocated a room immediatelyt. excellent!. well situated close to Temple Bar but not too noisy (I had a room at the back) I would recommend this hotel. locality within the temple bar area, fantastic, also friendliness of the bar in Buskers was exceptional. The location which was very central and our room was quiet as it was facing into an inner courtyard. It was very clean and felt secure. Very close to all amenities and all bars nearby were fantastic. The only thing is that if you are not oing out until 3 am ask for a room at the back or internal room as the people in the street at the front is very busy until this time. We asked to be moved which they did with no questions. The only small thing I would say is that it was very warm on the forth floor and I think an air fan would have been nice in the room. Also the beds did have woolen blankets on over the sheets I dont think are needed in the summer. There was no elevator up to rooms on the 3rd floor. I ordered a toasted cheese sandwich with oninns from the bar and it was sweet ! I think sugar had been added to the onions.I don't eat sugar.They have to be more aware of peoples dietary restrictions. due to its location there could be some street noise late at night. A bit noisy on occasions but to be expected right in the middle of Temple bar.no mini bar! but fantastic otherwise. only one thing, i booked smoking room but i was checked in into non smoking floor. Some of the fixtures and fittings were broken. The noise level in some of the rooms is extremely high. Our room overlooked an alley and was a bit noisy,didnt spoil things though.There was some noise from the late bars up the street but the hotel is in the middle of a nightlife area. A lot of noise came from some drunken singers(??) who the police had to disperse but that is not the hotel's fault. too close to the bar and is very noise in the evening till late so if they improve with the sound proff windows will be great. Absolutely nothing...it was all great. Single room was a little bit small. I was a little disappointed with the food - definitely not as good as it reads. The size of my "single" room really was that - a single bed with some walls around it. But the bathroom was a good size and at least there was room to open my bag - I have stayed in hotels where you cant even do this. The fact that our room was ajacent to all the central heating and air conditioning outlets made it rather noisy at night.British standards of cleanliness and general overlook... (not as good as in continental Europe for this kind of hotel category). The shower never got warm, the hallways and bedrooms need to be done up as showing some wear and tear.
