  I was put in a room with hardly any wifi signal. I asked if I could have another room as I really needed Internet access and they were very helpful and accomodated my request. Breakfast included fresh fruits and other healthy stuff.   Jane, the hostess, is wonderful and helpful. The food is lovely. Our needs were met, but there was never a sense of intrusion on our privacy. Our son loved playing with Jane's two small, very friendly and well mannered dogs. Heather Lodge has a spectacular view. - Everything about Heather Lodge was fantastic. Jane, the owner, and her family are just incredible people. The lodge was simply great and the best experience was that checking in and out was based on trust. Of course breakfast was wonderful and the view of the lake from our family room a bonus. We will be happy to return the someday when we visit again.

  This apartment was a fantastic find! We go to Clifden a few times a year. We have found now with two kids we are very restricted in a hotel room, but its very expensive (and usually impossible) to get a holiday rental for less than a week. The apartment is spotlessly clean, modern, well decorated, central to everything in town and yet totally qu... what people say » iet.   I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable with a pleasant staff. - Since I was only sleeping at the hotel, I didn't have an opportunity to try their breakfasts or use the bar. However, generally the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the one dinner I had was of good quality.

  We liked the location - very close to Clifden but far away enough for some peace and tranquility. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Our only regret was that as we were in Clifden for a concert we didnt have time to have dinner in the restaurant - it looked superb!   from the moment we walked in the door we had the warmest of welcomes. The room was really spacious, comfortable, warm and better than many hotels I've experienced. Lots of choice for breakfast and very relaxed about timing! We weren't hounded out of the room at 10 in the morning, the landlady was more than happy to accommodate a late breakfast. Sh... what people say » e gave us lots of suggestions about what we could do and where the best places (and most readonable if that's what you're after) were in the town. - I was travelling with a friend after we are living in Ireland for almost 2 years, this was our first big trip here. I can say with no doubt that staying in Connemara Coutry Lodge was a great decision, we had a great time there. The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly, Mary is just a great hostess and she sang some songs after the breakfast. Lovely! We were very sorry to spend just one night the, I'd recomend this B&B to everyone coming to Ireland.
