We have found now with two kids we are very restricted in a hotel room, but its very expensive (and usually impossible) to get a holiday rental for less than a week.   The friendly helpful service was exactly what we were looking for.There was plenty of facilities and the room was clean and tidy. We stayed for three nights and our room was cleaned each day and towels replaced which was a great touch. The breakfast was fresh and very tasty and the service was was fantastic. Owners on site and always ready to help and advise as to where the best places to eat and which are the best scenic routes .

  from the moment we walked in the door we had the warmest of welcomes. The room was really spacious, comfortable, warm and better than many hotels I've experienced. Lots of choice for breakfast and very relaxed about timing! We weren't hounded out of the room at 10 in the morning, the landlady was more than happy to accommodate a late breakfast. I can say with no doubt that staying in Connemara Coutry Lodge was a great decision, we had a great time there. The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly, Mary is just a great hostess and she sang some songs after the breakfast. Lovely! We were very sorry to spend just one night the, I'd recomend this B&B to everyone coming to Ireland.
