  What an amazing stay we had at the Castle Mews. We didn't actually meet the amazing Dolores until the morning at breakfast (she had to pick up her 'scallywag son' - her delightful words), but she left helpful voice mails & notes at the house and my friend & I were able to get settled in & ready with no problem. After a LATE night out at the castle feast & Durty Nellies we stumbled in for our (thankfully) late breaky and had the be - The owner of the Mews is such a sweet heart. So very welcoming! The mews is a real interesting place and the breakfast is to your heart content! The mews is literally 10 mins walk from the castle. No car needed. If you attend a late banquet, don't forget to pack a torch with you for your way back!

We had booked our reservation on-line 5 minutes before we showed up at their door and we were greeted as if we were friends they'd been expecting for months.   Sad to have stayed only the one night at the Parkhouse. The O'Briens were fabulous hosts and very welcoming. The room was a good size, with everything you'd need for a short stay, and the bed was very comfortable. The b&b is a mere minute's drive from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park (or about 10 minutes - Sean and Sinead were very gracious hosts who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The room was lovely and clean with everything you need at your fingertips. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious. The location was perfect for us as we could travel in a variety of directions, keeping the Park House as our base.   This was a wonderful B&B in a perfect location for Bunratty Castle. The reception was warm and friendly and everyone we met from this family was very nice and helpful. I have to apologize that I didn't notice that my little boy put a travel alarm clock in our di - Friendly and accomodating staff. Extremely comfortable beds, linens and towels. We had to rise quite early the next morning to catch a flight which meant we'd miss breakfast, which was included in the reasonalbe price. Phil(omena) arranged for coffee and scones to be available for us. This B&B is within walking distance of Bunratty castle and folk park.

  Our first, but not last, trip to Ireland began with a warm welcome from Mel and Denis in Bunratty, just minutes from the Shannon Airport. Mel was most accommodating and gracious. Her home is immaculate and her breakfasts delicious. Mel is the perfect hostess, when I arrived she cranked the electric blanket on the bed (which was SO comfortable!), pulled the blinds and allowed me to sleep the entire afternoon of my arrival so I could avoid jetlag.   This is my second stay with the O'Connors at Dunaree. My mother with whom I traveled has stayed three times. The hospitality is marvelous. The owners are so friendly. It is within walking Distance of Bunratty - My sister and I stayed one night. We loved the place- it was beautiful, convenient to nearby attractions, luxurious while being very economical, tastefully appointed with beautiful antiques, blended with modern conveniences, and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, lodging was very comfortable. It couldn't have been a better place- we felt so lucky to have found it!
