Facilities were good, with the pool and the leisure centre on site.We particularly liked the customer service - everyone was friendly, helpful and efficient, with special mention of the restaurant staff - they were absolutely first class.The staff and facilities were very good. Minor issues but gave a slightly negative impression.Bar Service. No - although I felt that the viewing area/cafe overlooking the pool was somewhat dull and uninviting . It seemed that the Hotel needed some "freshening up" in places. some of the decor was a little dated.No facilities for smokers.Its recent renovations should be extended to the whole hotel. It was alittle retro in places.booked 2 rooms, 1 seemed to be in a renovated end wile the other 1 seemed to be in an older end of hotel, would recommend askin for a renovated room when booking this hotel. room and corridor were cold for parts of the day.Also there was no hot water in the middle of the day when we were preparing for the wedding. Breakfast was very very poor, we arrived at 09:40 milk was warm forCereal, the cooked breakfast was self service, all was cold andselection was poor. Would not stay here again and would not recommendit. The room we got was fair enough, clean and fairly modern, ourfriends got a musty old room not nice !!!! we complained but complaintfell on deaf ears.The breakfast - both the food and the service were quite the worst we received in 3 weeks touring Ireland. The noise from wedding guests at 4am was unwelcome and intrusive.The hotel room was too cold and the breakfast was awful.Hotel was quite dingy and rundown looking.
