The staff was very helpful and friendly. My room was ready a little before check-in time. The view from my room window was the best...watched fly fisherman in the river all day long. The hotel info book in the room was the best I've ever seen. When I was not available for room cleaning...a bag full of towels, water, etc. was left on my door handle...it was a very nice gesture! Free parking. The dinner I had in the bar was one of the best I've ever had. The breakfast was good. The WiFi wa.
all reviews Our group was celebrating a 21st birthday and from the moment we arrived on Friday up until our departure on Sunday the staff were superb. We had some young children with us so we were a bit worried but the Hotel is really child friendly and they catered for our every need. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the bed was really comfortable. I stayed in this Hotel before but I didn't get to have a look around and I was really amazed by the size. I loved the quirkiness of hotel and would d. The staff at the hotel were exceptional and clearly a lot of emphasis has been put on communication skills and friendliness We were very impressed with food. cleanliness. value for money and as a couple who go away on Hotel breaks 4 times a year this stay ranks as one of the top short breaks we have ever had. We loved the hotel, its in a great location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here before and will be back, despite the pool .We like to go walking in Baleek forest and drive to inishcrone beach and go walking, its beautiful. A fine hotel by a salmon river with everything one expects from the "Best Western" badge. We dined in the softly lit bar below stairs Top barman on duty that evening. Location is excellent, staff very helpful. Pool a bonus... Spacy room and comfortable beds anyway and welcoming staff. The friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness and comfort. location of hotel near town centre great pub life nearby. Rooms comfortable and hotel is in an excellent location. Ambiance of hotel was good, and it was well presented. Nice Hotel,Liked the location and would stay again. The room was a good size, quiet , facilities good . Long, long series of stairs and hallways with heavy fire doors to open to get to my room. Seemed like a long maze! This would not be good for older people. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Ballina Manor, the only negative was the underground parking. The spaces were very tight and there was a limited number of spaces allocated to the Hotel. Only draw back was that we felt there was excessive heat in bed rooms./corridors for the weather at the time of our stay. We love to go for a swim ,unfortunately the pool was not in the best of condition. There was a lot of dust in the pool on the bottom and the surface of the pool was not even. Its as if the pool was opened before it was actually finished. The basket of frozen chips which came with the steak - can't kitchens peel potatoes any more!. Car park to small. Even though the bedroom was tidy it was not spotless there was cigarette ash and an old curtain hook on the windowsill I only noticed this when I closed the curtains as it was hidden by the net curtain.I Didn't like the fact that the carpark bays are so tight very little space to get luggage in and out of your car. coming home!!!!!!. loved everything. I couldn't change my booking as 1 person in my party cancelled. When I arrived was put in a twin room and told I changed my booking which I didn'T. Reception staff could have been a bit more friendly. dinner we got was expensive, pool was cold. one receptionist with dark hair was very rude i thought, i felt staff need to be more homily are can lose customers, one morning we slept in and dialled 0 .. 7th of august rang receptionist to see could we get some food brought up to our room and she said hold on i will check and kept me on phone for ages, hated that, very rude. had to eat out alot has food was expensive,. The room was a bit noisy with a fan running all night and the swimming pool was to small. They were unable to reimburse us because we cancelled 1 room. However they included breakfast for two which softened the sting. stay was to short rooms are over heated for my liking but you can easily adjust the radiator. Tight parking spaces in underground parking, but parking is free!. I couldn't fault the hotel for value. No dislikes. Nothing. The breakfast was very basic, poor veggie options. No view of the river from the breakfast room. Natural light blocked by a grand piano Very little parking in the hotel. Had to park in Arts Centre, dark at night, felt vulnerable. Noise from the street on Saturday night. Room was quite dark, but the price was so good that it was a minor concern... the cheap juices at breakfast was out of kilter with the quality of the rest of the food. no parking available in hotel. The tavern food wasn't great at all. Bit disappointing. Pool didn't appear that clean, towels lying everywhere in changing room. (sloppy!). Some of the bedding had stain evidence from previous but one off over three nights. Room was very warm, and the bed was hard. Some pieces of the furniture were a bit old and used, with some tasks on it. The suite could have looked better, it was sad in the room. The toilets were a bit small. I hope other suites are not the same. The towels could have been in better condition but perhaps we were unlucky. Otherwise no complaints. cathedral bell 30 rings before 8 oclock. Being allocated a room directly above the door where all the smokers congregate outside the bar. Difficult to find the stairs from the bedrooms. cant find any bad points. Attending a function, food was ok . Some guests main course was cold.
