The accommodations were excellent. The rooms are small but well outfitted so we had everything we needed. The restaurant & bar had a nice selection and the service was good. We had two problems: our room was directly above the area used for smokers from the bar so the smoke was very heavy even with windows closed; the heat was blasting and drunken revelers ran up and down the hallway until 4:30 in the morning and we had no way to access management for assistance. The hotel and its staff were really good. The hotel was close to a bus stop which made it easy to get to town. The lady on the desk was very accommodating and tried to meet all of our needs. Although we checked out a night early they gave us a refund as the internet did not work.

Very friendly and helpful reception by Rod, the proprietor. Comfortable room and plenty big for us and our two young children. Fridge in room was perfect to keep some food for the children cold for the next day. We had a very restful and quiet nigth's sleep. Perfect location for our visit to Ashbourne and Tayto Park. -

The hotel is quaint and pleasant, the setting spectacular with veiws along the waterfront and bay. The bath was modern and the room clean. The staff was very good. The attached restaurant, Oliveto, is a must. The food is very good and the wait staff excellent. I have visited Dublin three times in the past four years and am always certain to dine at Oliveto.
