I really liked the accommodation, not only because the bed was huge and comfortable, but also because the location was great too. I could easily walk along the Coast Road in one direction to Portmarnock beach, and then in the other direction to the lovely boutiques and eating places available in Malahide. Cozy and comfortable. Right across the street from the Beach. Tony the manager was wonderful. I really liked the town and wanted to stay another night but the hotel was booked. He called around and found me another place to stay. He was so nice and funny.

Good, inexpensive buses to/from Dublin, airport. Everyone helpful. Fresh milk in fridge for room tea service. The room was spacious and had a huge queen size comfortable bed. The food at the hotel was of excellent quality and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is on the coast road with easy access to beach and also golf and tennis facilities. For a small hotel the rooms have better facilities than most of the ones I have stayed in in Paris. Tea Coffee a fridge a bar downstairs and beside the sea and the price of €7.50 for a full breakfast. Ideal for a night away from the kids,breakfast was lovely...well worth the money,room was clean with coffee/tea making facilities,staff were friendly and helpful...all good!! Some folk are too fussy!!. Lovely hotel, comfortable, great location over looking beach. Easy transport network into Dublin or surrounding areas of portmarnock and howth. Very friendly staff, welcoming and inviting. Everything we needed was in the room and the hotel had a very nice location. The bar was lovely. Food was lovely... Food. My room was really close to the bar and a band was playing so it was too loud to sleep. I didn't mind, but the front desk isn't staffed all the time - you just go to the great carvery or restaurant and everyone helps. Nothing!. Nothing. View!!!!. The room was clean on the first view but the second View was not that nice. The bathroom was smelling very old. The milk for tea was old too and was done since 12-12, so we put it into the bins. We were under the impression that the breakfasts would be additional to our accommodation. We did not have breakfast everyday and yet we were charged for full Irish daily. It should be made clear to the guests what they will be paying for upfront and not when they are settling the bill at the end. No light in the gents public toilet and the view from the bedroom window. Very noisy room above the the bar (band playing till early hours) and adjacent to toilets open to restaurant / bar customers. One bed in the triple room was unusable due to damp caused by it being pushed up to window and effected by rain/condensation. Room seemed not to have been used for some time or this would have been noticed. I arrived back at the hotel at 3am but couldn't get in as there was nobody at reception. I was outside for 30min until I eventually got let in. Very noisey til very late at least 1.30 am. Walls paper thin. TV didn't work properly Shower cold No really relaxing place to sit. Phone in pub unanswered during night when reception closed. The Rooms, very dated and unclean. A lot of dust on lamp shades and missing bulbs and handles on windows were falling off. You could see the pipes in the toilet. Rooms small, tired looking. Very basic accommodation for the price. Very very disappointed with my room it was filthy, dust on furniture about an inch thick, dirty cups, dirty tissues left from last occupies, dirty toilet... Etc.. So disapointed willnever stay here again dispite complaining the tv never worked all wkend neither did phone. Musicfrom lounge felt was playing in my room all night cried when i got home never againWasWas.
