the location is stunning, the staff were all so helpful, and young. probably need to learn more english, but lovely all the same! the food was yummy, and felt like we had the restaurant to ourselves most days.the villa was clean, the pool also. A short walk down to the shop that stocked everything you needed, plus made a good coffee and milkshakes. I would go back, simply for location and the staff.
all reviews - All the advices we have got from the manager of the place. All the staff cannot speak Englisch but as he was really present it is not an issue. Amed is quite a calm place so it is good to get advices from someone. - Huge room with all facilities for a really acceptable price. We were upgraded to their Delux Villa, it was gorgeous. We could have stayed longer. The nice view, friendly staff, Coral garden in front of the hotel. Nice place, worth trying. the only negative for me was the steps, as my knee is bad and was a bit of an effort. Not advisable for older people with bad feet, knees or hips!! The bathroom in our villa wasnt great, but a typical outdoor bathroom in bali!. - in Amed, I recommend to stay only few days. No options for supermarkets or grocery around, no TV (only DVD/CD player).
