We had a great time at Puri Wirata Resort. We enjoyed especially our clean, spacious and pretty room with stunning sea-view and the possibility to have breakfast in ourroom/on our balcony. Moreover, the 2 beautiful Pools located directly at the sea were perfect for relaxation in the sun under palm trees with a nice view. The food was good and fresh and with reasonable prices. The location is perfect since it is a quiet environment surrounded by mountains and nature and directly at the coast. Th.
all reviews The location is absolutely lovely! They have two swimming pools facing the sea. The room was big and clean as was the bathroom. Our room faced the sea and we had an amazing view of the sea. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The food served at their restaurant is pretty good too! Good chicken sate, ikan pepes, mie goreng and nasi goreng. The inclusive breakfast is quite substantial too - pancakes, eggs, juice/fruit platter, tea/coffee. My husband went diving with the diving center att. The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful. Very nice staff. They will help you with every question. The restaurant is quite nice. If you need a rest than this is your hotel (of course if you like diving and snorkelling than you should also stay at this hotel). The staff are incredible at this hotel! The sea and pool views from our room were amazing as are the 2 pools. The food in the restaurant is very good but a fairly limited menu. This is our 3rd stay and would highly recommend it to other travellers. Excellent friendly staff. Fantastic value for a place right on the beach. We love the beach front and we enjoy snorkling time just in front of our hotel. The swimming pools were directly at the sea, yet there was not really a "beach", only the pools, which is not clear from the description. Some of the staff did not really speak English. The hotel was not cooperative at all when their Credit Card Machine wasn't working, we got no compensation for the costs and the time that this incidence caused us. Therefore, we would recommend to bring enough cash for the payment. I cannot think of any negatives. The hotel is located in an area that is relatively rough and uninhabited. There are no special walking areas for tourists (to have a nice walk in the evening) because of the mountains. So you will have to stay at your resort. There are no ATM's in the neighborhood (nearest 20 min. with scooter). For snorkling the reef is just off the Beach, but it is not very nice (no colourful corrals). However, there are plenty of fish to look at. Very slow internet connection, almost non-existent. The resort did not receive the booking from Booking. Com so we paid extra for our rooms. There is not much in the surrounding of the hotel. no wifi in rooms,. Wifi only in reception/restaurant and intermittent access. beach. Should have more choice in breakfast menu.
