I've been once before and choosing a Hotel for my wife's 60th birthday remembered Hotel Holt for its atmosphere, its wonderful collection of paintings and its excellent food. exposed wooden beams of the top suite. Excellent location - just one
street over from the main shopping/dining street which can get noisy
during the weekend. The breakfast was more than enough for 3 people,
with delicious sourdough bread left hanging on your doorknob every
morning. Goose down comforters and Icelandic wool blankets were really
cosy. Good soundproofing muted the construction sounds which began at
around 8 A.M.
