  It was the best hotel in the city-right on the main square with a view of the castle on one side and the cathedral on the other. The staff were friendly and accomodating. There were two restaurants, one more formal and the other very comfortalbe and casual.   The restaurant was very good and there was a variety of breakfast food. The walk to "The Valley of Beautiful Women" is short and the walk into the centre is a pleasant 20 minutes.
