It was the best hotel in the city-right on the main square with a view of the castle on one side and the cathedral on the other. The staff were friendly and accomodating. There were two restaurants, one more formal and the other very comfortalbe and casual. The weather was beautifuls o the outside patio was also open for eating with an orchestra playing on the pedstrian mall. location.

The hotel is located in the heart of the baroque city of Eger, in an historic building built at the beginning of the seventeen hundreds. The windows of the five homely, air-conditioned apartments of the baroque building overlook the famous Eger Fortress. Dobó Square can also be seen, as well as Central Europe's only church built exclusively in baroque style - the Minorite Church.
