He was born and raised in Eger and is - If you search for Palazzo Wellness Villa using Google Map and street view, you may not even see this place. If you use your gps to guide you there, you will feel that you are certainly lost. The hills are steep and the streets are very narrow. As you turn on to a little side street, the property gate becomes apparent. Once inside, the property reveals itself as a beautiful oasis. Every kind of colorful blossom fills the palate. There is almost too much color and horticultural variety to take in

  The host Zsuzsanna was wonderful, she and her husband picked us up from the train station and settled us in to a lovely and warm apartment with a complimentary bottle of local wine, homemade cake and some chocolates. The rooms were very clean, pleasant, well accommodated and a very reasonable value. It was a 14 minute walk into town, which was acceptable. We had a decent sized private outside area off our room that would have been lovely if the weather was warm enough! The hotel is situated right next to the valley which is perfect for wine tasting.
