We checked in at 10:00 a.m. - Rooms look like they have been recently upgraded - Hotel has a fresh scent - Room has modern look and feel - Got real king size beds not two double beds put together - Room is size is appropriate for Hong Kong. Cozy for 2 and had a banquette to sit and enjoy the view near the window - Windows are well insulated and I was not able to hear outside noise - Housekeeping was trustworthy. He ran away when we ask help to get a taxi to the airport during our departure back to our home country. * Restaurant in the hotel ZAAN was awesome. We love the food there. Very nice and not expensive. All the people who served in the restaurant also very nice and friendly. Sam, young man who responsible and in charge for this restaurant know how to advise us and arrange the food. * Walk to MTR Station at Pacific Place quite near, approx. 5-7 m. Everything is new and clean and the staff are working hard to keep it that way. I really liked this hotel from the minute I checked in. For the first night I had a dream room and then got upgraded to a suite. Hong Kong hotel rooms can be smallish and I would say that if your stay is more than a couple of nights the suits are well worth the extra. The breakfast restaurant is light and Conran-ish. The tables are well spaced and the food choice, although not extensive, is good taste and quality. A perfect accommodation in Hong Kong! My BF and I stayed there for two nights and were quite satisfied with this hotel. Besides its good location which enabled us a quiet environment, the room was clean and well designed. The staff there were also friendly and helpfully. They smiled to us when everytime we went out or back to the hotel, which gave us a feeling of home. I will highly recommend this hotel to all my friends, and I will choice it when the next time I go to the Hong Kong. From the moment we arrived service was excellent, much better than most hotels and so helpful. The team leader Mervyn Leung gave us recommended restaurant options nearby for gluten free as my wife is coeliac and checked with the hotel chef that there were various options for breakfast. Greetings by staff as you left and returned to the hotel. Checkout was also smooth. Best service we have received of many hotels we have stayed at around the world. Fabulous hotel, great location in the hub of everything, well set up spacious room. Had the best sleep i have had in years due to the great black out curtains! Will most definitely return. It is a very nice Boutique-hotel - I liked the concentration on the things that matter: Friendliness of staff, cleanliness, good mattress, free WiFi - and an excellent architecture of the rooms with modern design-interior. Also location of the hotel is excellent - in particular for joggers - you can directly climb up Monmouth Path to reach Bowen Road, a popular jogging trail. This is a new renovation and everything is in perfect condition. The staff on the desk were very friendly. I needed an early check-in because I had come into HK on an overnight flight and they found me a room without any fuss. Compared with my earlier experiences in HK, this hotel was great - staff were friendly and helpful and the room was excellent value for money. I love the room's interior, its vibrant and relaxing specially the window coach where we can sit and have a glimpse of Hong Kong's mountain by day and city lights at night. Close to MTR station with nearby attractions and restaurants. stayed in sleep room for a night excellent staff, extremely clean room, walking distance to a lot of entertainment outlets and restaurants. rooms are a tad bit small but really if you are just using it for sleeping then they are excellent. shuttle service from HK Airport Express stops nearby at the Empire Hotel a 5 minute walk. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful upon check in and departure and always acknowledged you when you walked through the foyer. We only stayed one night and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite which was very large and comfortable. We had breakfast which was good and the wait staff were very attentive. Excellent location! Two metro stations minutes away. Giant mall with a supermarket and a food court minutes away. Star street neighborhood minutes away. The hotel is modern and new. The floor of the bathroom was easy to be wetted due to the inside door couldn't be fully closed while showering. Couldn't find anything on this visit. For me, the offer at breakfast was absolutely enough - however, some guests might complain that there is too little choice at the breakfast buffet. none. The only complaint was the down and feather doona which was too hot for sultry Hong Kong even in air conditioning. The only thing I didn't like was lack of vacuuming-- I kept seeing someone's hair on the floor of the room and the bathroom. However it's such a small dislike, I will stay at this hotel again without a doubt. Room a bit noisy because of the bus- and tramstop in front of the hotel. soundproof windows would be a big improvement for this location. Also airco to noisy even if switched on low. The bathroom is tiny though shower area is adequate. The little plastic refrigerator is not only pathetic but extremely noisy too. So unplug it before you sleep. Room size is a norm in H.K. standards. Still, could be a little bigger. Everything about the hotel was great. Finding it was a bit of a challenge -- that's Hong Kong. Small rooms but don't forget you are in Hong Kong and you don't get to stay too long in your hotel room. The standard rooms are really quite small and can't accomodate a crib or even more than a piece of luggage. Upgrading was possible in our case, but it wasn't very cheap. none. Small room size which is typical for most hotels in Hong Kong. Room could be small for more than 1 with lots of luggage - ventilation was noisy but could be stopped (and then room was very calm). didn't really like the perfume in the lobby...it's tooooo heavy... I was disgusted with human hair found from the bath towel when I checked in the room. The whole set of towels were replaced shortly after I called the customer service counter. Room size of this hotel is small. Hotel requested a (high) deposit which would be refunded within a couple of weeks which was unacceptable for me. They waved it which was a positive result. Standard rooms a bit on the small side. I dont recall there being a lounge/bar area to relax/unwind. Sometimes difficult to get a taxi. Too pricey and not too exciting a breakfast. No bell hop service. Catching taxi is difficult during rush hours. Nothing. aircon too loud. And also a strong deterrent from staying here again. A rather limited breakfast buffet. - Noisy Air Con in Room - Bed sheets made my eyes puffy. I had to check out early in the morning and leave my bags because check out was at 12. I asked if could have a shower when I picked up my bags at 1pm, but were going to charge half a days stay. The single wifi code per room. breakfast was ordinary, have the fast breakfast option. The breakfast selections could be better. No slipper at the room. -AC is a bit noisy -Only one device per wifi code, but you can ask for more at the reception.
