Excellent location near the Acropolis, the Acropolis metro, and the Plaka neighborhood popular for its shops and restaurants. A local Athenian told me the neighborhood is a safe one on top of it. The hotel staff were very helpful and spoke perfect English. The room was very comfortable with great AC and bathroom, very nicely decorated. I had a large room for single use. Great breakfast too!.
all reviews » The hotel was one of the best I have stayed at. The room was quiet, had fantastic views (one of the Parthenon), and great bathroom facilities. The staff was friendly, accomodating, and answered all quewstions and requests promptly, including giving us a room with a view of the Parthenon.We found the staff at the hotel to be very friendly and helpful both at reception, in the breakfast room and in the roof top garden. The rooms are very comfortable and have tea/coffee making facilities which for us is a must. Everything....excellent location, the room was fabulous, cozy but very clean and classy decor (A/c was a bonus), very nice staff that were keen to helping their visitors and nice breakfast buffet. We would stay there again.Spacious room, large and well-equipped bath, good location, excellent breakfast. The hotel is very up-to-date and modern, and it is only a few minutes walk to the Plaka area. We would definitely stay there again. Beautiful hotel in lovely part of the city, staff very helpful. Didn't bother us but might be a nuisance for larger people. Breakfast could have been better, i would have liked more fresh vegetables ond fruit.The roof restauraurant could be used for breakfast in order to make more use of the view to acropolis. I have never liked the doors conecting two rooms, although this is common in many hotels I do not like it, the smoke of the room next door came into ours, and we ordered non smoking, you also can here the people talking next door too. Please remove doors ant hotel would be perfect. The bed sheets were heavy and not very comfortable. The sheets seemed to be a cotton blend that was very clammy feeling and seemed to stick to your body.Buffet breakfast not well maintained.... get there early or not much selection. It was warm and AC was not on as of yet but we were ok.The bathtub was not working--the stopper. Took awhile to get someone to let the water out. We both found the bed uncomfortable--too hard. Also, for the price we paid, at least a 'generic' down pillow would have been nice. Pillows were not comfortable. room I was given had faulty internet connection, there was no expert help to sort out the problem - instead they will point you to use the hotel computer in the conference. After complaining I was give a different room.with internet working. The hotel's bar was too expensive (Peacock Bar). Wireless internet in room never worked for the 3 nights we stayed. We had to use the old computer in their conference room on Floor H, which was fine if no others are waiting in line. Safe is not large enough for a small lap top.The cost of food in the rooftop restaurant was overpriced. 1) There are some rooms with "connecting-doors" to the neigbouring-rooms, where you can litteraly hear "breathing" the person in the other room! I complained and got a new room. 2) No WLAN: For getting connected to the internet, the hotel has only got ten (!. small rooms.
