A beautiful hotel in the heart of a beautiful city! Very elegant, yet at a reasonable price. Room was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast cost extra, but was well worth it for the variety, quality and amount. The hotel clerk was especially accommodating helping us change our trainschedule. She ran a new schedule on her computer in a few minutes. Theinformation was invaluable.Great location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast for a good price.Interesting historical location.Highly recommend this hotel. Readyto go back.

It was even better than expected from the website - literally in the centre of the Altstadt, and is the only remaining Renaissance house in town (something I didn't understand from the website ). Breakfast was expensive. No parking discount from the hotel. The hotel validated the ticket but the parking cost mirrored the parking garage daily rate (10 Euros). The room was very small, with a low ceilling, not as confortable as thepast time I went there. They tried to charge us extra for breakfast, even though we'd paid for Halbpension which in my experience always includes breakfast plus one other meal. They backed down on this, however, and ultimately did not charge us for it. Some street noise but not much and worth it for the location. No airconditioning but there was a fan provided which was sufficient. Onlyreal fault was that breakfast was not included in the room rate which Ifelt it should be.liked everzthing. breafast buffet was 18 euros per person ... thought that it was pricey.. walked down the street to have morning coffee. Rooms were a bit run down but they were clean. Very difficult to find this hotel as the street is accessable by foot. We found it by foot and then asked how to access by car. Front desk was friendly and helpful. the smell that came from the kitchen. Not comnvenient for business use (location, etc.). Soundproofing is not good, even so, the hotel is of value to stay. room quite out dated and shower leaked very badly. Difficulty in getting to the room with luggage.
