Fantastic atmosphere - a real pearl of a hotel. very nice staff, lovely rooms. Friendlyness. Nice hotel, especially the inner courtyard is very peaceful and a blessing on hot and humid summer days (coupled with the lack of A/C in the rooms). They say it has been renovated 2007 and you can definitely see that! The fact that the staff includes one French and one Italian waiter sure increases your chances to communicate (they also speak English). Very nice staff.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Also had good character.The restaurant is good.Parking your car is a nightmare. The hotel is rather far away (>40 min walking, trams get you there rather fast, though) from the historical city center. But it is somewhat close to the Cancer Center and that's what mattered for me. There's not much variety in the breakfast menu (without being too scarce, either), but I understand that for a small hotel it's hard to have too much of an offer (and just a handfull of customers).Hotel is oriented towards local German travellers. Staff spoke very little English. Not much guidance available for planning city trip.
