  Staff were friendly enough. Rooms were very clean and very spacious, however we all got single beds-although I'm sure if we had asked we could have been moved to double rooms.   For a 3 star hotel I have to say it is probably the best we have stayed in. The room although a little small, was furnished lovely, bathroom lovely too! Would like to have seen a few more english channels on the tv as there was only ccn news with english speaking, but then again perhaps I should have brushed up on our German lol! This hotel is 5 mins walk from S-Bahnhof Blankenese with superb direct services via S1-line to the city centre (25 mins) and Hamburg-Airport (50 mins) running every 10 mins or one can also use the fast Bus No 36 to the city centre.
