Staff were friendly enough. Rooms were very clean and very spacious,
however we all got single beds-although I'm sure if we had asked we
could have been moved to double rooms. Very good value for money
especially as breakfast included! Very handy location with two ubahn
stops close by. Would recommend -

Everything! We were pleasantly surprised with generous breakfast items; tourist information available at the front desk; English speaking staff; problem in bathroom quickly rectified upon notification to hotel staff; great location. Great, loved everything! - nice crew!

Also, the hotel was right on the lake, just a few steps away from several lakeside restaurants (which had indoor and outdoor seating). We were also lucky to be in Germany for white asparagus season, so there was "Spargel" on every menu. The hotel was also a short walk (10-15 minutes)

Liten kokvrå var suverän. Inredningen är trevligt- påminner lyxigt hytt på en kryssningsbåt. - Lätt att hitta till hotellet som var mycket fräscht. Frukosten var mycket god om än väldigt dyr. Garage under hotellet.

This is a great hotel to stay at in Hamburg. It has a cozy feel, and good sized rooms and bathrooms. We were able to walk right into the city center in about 15 minutes, and another 5 minutes to the lake. Room was nice and cosy. There was free wifi and free parking which is a plus in Hamburg. Room was clean. There were some takeaways nearby which was handy, since the on site restaurant was closed. -

This hotel is 5 mins walk from S-Bahnhof Blankenese with superb direct services via S1-line to the city centre (25 mins) and Hamburg-Airport (50 mins) running every 10 mins or one can also use the fast Bus No 36 to the city centre. The staff were very pleasant and professional and hard working particularly keeping the restaurant well stocked during peak times at breakfast. Everywhere in the hotel was quiet, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated.
Absolute value for money would have no hesitation to recommend this particular Holiday Inn Express.
