It's city center location, close to main train station and Irish bar, walking distance to main shopping area and points of interest (musems etc.). Also, all staff that we met had good english, as we spoke no German. Centrally located hotel with easy access from/to main train station. Ultra-generous breakfast. Heated pool and sauna: simply "cherry on the cake". Very friendly staff.

Shower screen badly adjusted and water soaked the floor. Breakfast a bit expensive. The curtains were too narrow to close properly so I could not shut out all the street lighting. no english tv - sport channels movies on demand just very poor pay tv repeated. Quite noisy because of trains. The room was very very small. yes no restaurant and good food available in hotel premises. there was a strange smell in bathroom; the breakfast should have been included into the hotel's price. The swimming pool was closed. When it is cold, you can't get heat.Carpets were filthy and the hotel smelled like smoke. fitness centre is not fully functional. They should have car parking arrangements with a car park operator. It is after all 4 star. Quite noisy and little cover of windows / small curtains. The showers. no slippers and needed to ask for a bathrobe; the bed was quite small and uncomfortable, very high pillows; problems with showering as a very low ceiling in the bathroom (I am not too tall but I had real problems); the pool was closed and a very poor gym; overpriced internet. My main reason to choose this hotel was that they had a swimming pool,but it was closed for the week I was there. I was not informed inadvance nor at checking in. There was just a notice in the elevator. It is supposed to be a 4star- I'm afraid the standard in Germany of 4stars do not match worldwide. There was one towel - that is very frustrating. The gym was not very good. There was no restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast was extra and very expensive.lack of activities. too noisy and could hear everyone. too claustrophobic.To mount towels and clothes hooks in a bathroom. room was small and smelt.
