What people say
Hotel Apollo is a 5 minute walk to the train station and a convenient walk to downtown and the river. The staff was very helpful with information about Frankfurt and places to eat and visit. They had breakfast ready early for us (we had an early flight). Hotel shows some age but everything worked well and the room was clean. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
The location is super.Walking to hotel from railway staion(Main) which is only 5 minutes. The boss of the hotel is very nice and
acquainted with nearby surroundings. He helped me a lot.all reviews »
Excellent location: close to railway station and historical center.
Friendly staff.
Room was little, but cozy and clean.
Fine breakfast, got all you need in the morning.
The staff especially reception was very professional and welcoming,
helpful with info about how to get to airport and gave us a fan for our
room since it was very hot.
All the people work there are so friendly and helpful to us. That's the most important part for a traveler. We also like the breakfast there. Simple but very good.
proximity to rail station
good breakfast, good budget hotel ideally situated for a stopover.
3 minutes walking from central railway station; reception open 24 hours; fair breakfast.
Location, breakfast, friendly staff, clean, organized and well equipped.
Friendly welcome, helpful front desk. Comfortable bed with fresh linin.
I like, Because near the main station only by walking distance.
Location. Really good breakfast included. Helpful staff.
Location is great, if you like the Redlight district.
Very good location. Messe is about 12 minutes walk.
The location and the staff were very helpful.
Fantastic Location!
Good and Helpful Staff!.
It is very close from central station.
The near distance to the centre.
The location and friendly staff.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

Staff, location, cleanliness.
- excellent location very close to main station and to city centre
- ask for quite room, one side of hotel is faced to the street with trams
- nice breakfast.
a few steps from central staton, friendly and helpful staff, fair selection of breakfast, room is big.
- perfect location..1 minute from the main station
-very friendly staff.
- clean.
- Budget friendly.
In the heart of the city, close to the railway station and main must-see buildings.
Good location. Staff was quite friendly and helpful.
It was a big disappointment after the luxury of Singapore Residence
Club. The area is very rough and the hotel is more like an old-fashioned
boarding house-very cramped accommodation and not the room I booked with
Expedia- no explanation or apology. However, the staff were most helpful
generally and allowed me kindly to leave my luggage there for four days
while I travelled elsewhere. I should have done more research before I
booked but with no knowledge of Frankfurt, I thought it would be ok.
It is closer to the Main Train Station and Shopping centres. A good geographic position.
Convenient location but too expensive for a 2-stars hotels.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious .
Price.
The location was great, really near the Main Station. Man in the reception was great, he gave as the ventilator, because there was unbelievable heat in Frankfurt at the time we were there.
Nothing, Hotel Apollo met our needs.
The room has no air-condition.in night,it is little hot!.
Nothing in particular for such price.
The location was good for us as we arrived by train -just around the
corner and needed to get to airport in am. However, the location is a
bit rough ie) people asking for money and trying to scam you.
Sound of the tram outside. But since we were too tired from our trip every day, it wasn't a problem for us.
nothing.
Some noise of the trams, what is understandable in a downtown hotel.
I was in a front room and there was a lot of noise from street below and from the Tram.
nothing really considering its for the budget.
Noisy!!! We were facing the main street, so it's almost impossible to sleep at night, if you're not used to noise.
Quiet small room but compared to price its ok. Furniture is old.
Nothing.
For the price charged one cannot complain about anything. One cannot
expect a 5star treatment.
Room small but adequate for one night.
noise from Strassenbahn
Beds moving apart
no bath
no toiletries.
- simple furnishing (but clean enough) :-)
- very small bath
- really just for stay over night.
ants on towels and bed sheets, my wife got allergic and itching for hours because of that;
well, the room is acutally a triple room with 3 beds
when we entered the room, there was a really strong smell left from the previous customer.
The rooms were poor and small.
Very expensive for the service and confort.
The hotel is quite old, renovation is definitely needed asap.
Little bit poor :(.
The noise frm the Trams and neighbouring Bars kept us awake. There was no tea/coffee in the room.
Room was on a busy, noisy street with a tram line. Hair dryer and plug in bathroom didn't work but they brought me a plug in one I had to use by the bed. Breakfast was just okay: no fresh fruit.
The location is on a noisy street, no air conditioning and its bordering the red light district.
We travelled there in the middle of July and in Frankfurt the weather was really hot, every day over +30 and nights the heat never gets lower. And when there was no air condition in the hotel it was almost impossible to sleep.
It was located in a shady part of town and we did not feel safe. Eating places were all foreign and not German. Sheets smelled of smoke even though it was supposed to be a non smoking environment.
