As I have said before the Plaza is a gem with its location so close to the K'damm and the excellent restaurant and wifi facilities it offersw. The staff are also so helpful, whatever the problems you give them.Good hospitality from the staffs. Very conveneient to visit other places and all the more to go to Airport or train station it is very near to bus stop or train station. Everything! The room was lovely. We knew it was going to be small so that wasn't an issue. Include channels in english in the TV.it would be nicer if there will be more attention to non speaking german: english newspaper, more staff in the reception who speak english. There was no air cooling and we just had duvets for the beds so when it got hot we had to dismantle the duvet so we could use just the cover at night. I found the beds too firm but asked for another duvet and used that as an underlayer. The room was quiet at night.The sound proofing was so good I had trouble thinking anyone else was in the hotel.The soundproofing should be considered. The fitting of the window is poor and when the outside is noizy in the midnight, I was disturbed my sleep and annoyed. Once Berlin was quieter, it might have never any problem. However, now a days, Berlin has been very noisy, especially after soccer game because noisy and crazy car parade has been held for several hours in the night.room smelt of cigarette smoke , room could do with a fresh lick of paint. No. I thought breakfast room was nice and breakfast staff too, but the most of dishes all smelled of egg/fat ( perhaps as they were washed so quickly and back to the buffet). It is good to think of sensitive noses!otherwsie the buffet breakfast itself was very good.no english speaking TV newscanal.
