The hotel is newly opened, very clean and comfortable. Staff are young, friendly and helpful. The street location is at first sight unappealing but the hotel is very close to Prenzlauerberg, one of the nicest areas of Berlin. A tram stop right outside the door links into Berlin's excellent transport system. The hotel provided simple but effective coffee and tea facilities; the reception was integrated into the lounge and dining space which worked well for interacting with the staff; and the rooms belonged to the architecture of the precinct rather than the vulgar architecture of international hotels.

Nice buffet brekky, but croissants were only available for early risers - although breakfast went from 7 - 12 we never saw any, even when we ate at 830am. The room rate is a bit steep considering the hotel location and its modest class.Most of the apartments are on 3rd floor - was a bit inconvenient for my parents (70+ years), so check on this if you have any such constraints. the rolling beds. The breakfast room is way too small for the number of guests. Sounds like I was charged more than indicated in the room. Conference prices?. I left at 5 o'clock in the morning and did not get neither breakfast nor the breakfast nor the breakfast "packet". Bigger bathroom!. maybe the reception desk's localization. No telephone, but there's a Café-Internet center close to the hotel.
