The staff at this hotel were excellent! I especially liked the two girls(one from the Czech Republic and the other from Slovakia) that workedhere, as they both had great people skills. Bacharach is quite abeautiful town to stroll around in. The food in the hotel restaurant wasvery good and economical.It was an excelent expirience. The last impression which was the breakfast was simply outstanding!.

Good location on the town square. Quite close to the ferry wharf. The fact that they only take cash or German debit card is somewhat inconvenient when the cash machines are not working in the town due to multiple holidays, especially when you are paying for three rooms instead of one. Anyway you can offer a pre-pay plan for this hotel?? That would be of great value.Need sheets in addition to comforter - summertime and room was warm at night and comforter was not warranted.Breakfast ideally could have been available a little earlier 08.00-09.30is what was available. For holiday hotel probably okay but 07.30 wouldhave been useful..Our room had a large double connecting door to the next room (locked) -a very nice original feature but this meant that sound privacy was poor.Towels were thread barren. Breakfast was a bit under par for comparable hotels during our trip (a minor negative).only takes cash;. no welcome tray in room; no toiletries provided in bathroom. lots of stairs and corridors to get to room. Hard to find a parking place. I think this was a little over-priced for what we got, but basically this was a simple 2-star hotel w/ basic accomodations. It was well located to explore the area.

- via B9
- via A61 coming from Koblenz (take exit Rheinböllen)
- via A60 coming from Mainz / Frankfurt (take exit Bingen-Ost) direction St. Goar following the B9
- by boat to the Loreley or to Bacharach.
