I have not seen a hotel staff more helpful than Art Hotel Aachen, due to a dysfunctional site they did not get information of our booking but still they tried to accommodate us, and when we requested they even looked for new hotels for us. rooms were spacious and grand.The wellness area and the food.

Cold room until you realize to turn on the heater. location is a bit too far away from the center. An ugly building with a view on the parking only from restaurant/bar, no real bar nor area to sit comfortably downstairs, wellness not inviting - tiny pool in a dark cellar. small room and bathroom for two persons. the wellness is not as good as imagined.I book the twin bed in double but they still put the bed together.Especially I made a phone call to confirm this. Really made me angry.

If coming from the Cologne/Düsseldorf, turn off at the Aachen junction and continue along the A544 motorway towards Verlautenheide. Exit at Aachen Rothe Erde, turn left onto the Berliner Ring (ring road), continue straight ahead for approx. 5.5 km, and you will find the hotel entrance on your left-hand side beside the petrol station.
