Eventhough the exterior of the hotel doesn't look as nice, the rooms are very clean, nicely decorated with all updated amenities. The room is big and bathroom is spacious. The rate for this hotel is also very budget-friendly. Overall, we really enjoy our stay at hotel Italia. We will definately stay here again if we are in the area. We only stayed here for 1 night because we were travelling. The hotel is small and inside a residential area but being in a quiet area and able to park your car in front of the door was nice. The city centre is a 20 minute walk.

I loved the fact that the hotel had a B&B feel because the owners live there, work the front desk, and serve the breakfast. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel is a bit tricky to find. there is no elevator so you need to carry your lougage by the stairts. Nothing really. The outside was a bit deceiving but we only saw it in the dark. We liked it!. Very winding narrow roads to get to the hotel but worth the nailbiting!. The location makes it hard to get into town if there are special events going on in the Old Town Center part of town. And there are no restaurants near by that you can walk to, so you have to drive into town. Very difficult to find because not recognised on our satnav. Hotel could improve directions. No restaurants nearby and too far to walk to town enter, but only a short drive. A little difficult to find. No facilities in room for having tea/ coffee etc. No net curtains on windows. Couldn't leave curtains open without very close neighbours or other guests seeing everything. Room decoration was quite dark. Would've been nice to be able to let sunlight in the room. Nothing. Difficult to find. Location - it's fine if you're happy to drive into the city centre but if you want to walk you are faced with a lengthy and not very appealing walk back up hill. There is no frigobar in the room. A little bit put of town - no problem if you have a car but too far to walk into the centre. The bathroom is a bit small. the location is very hard to find.
