Hotel is situated in a quite area on the opposite side of the river to the town. A short walk across the bridge and your are in the centre. The rooms were good and we had a ground floor room which opened onto a small area with outside seating which was great as it was hot. No air con but as it was quiet we could leave window open. Breakfast was good value at 9 Euro. Parked our car in rear park outside our room. Great!.
all reviews » The room was spacious with TV and a large en-suite bathroom. Everything was immaculately clean. The WiFi was good - not super fast but good enough to check emails / browse the web. Breakfast was good with bread, yoghurt, compote, jams, honey and fresh coffee. The onsite parking was a bonus and being able to park right outside your room was good. The owners are great and gave us a very friendly welcome, lots of local advice and recommendations. The room was clean and spacious The location is great for the centre of Tours and having parking at the hotel is a real bonus. Great location, just over the river from the Old Town. Quiet, with secure parking. Small, but comfortable and beautifully maintained room, with excellent bathroom ( great shower). Efficient and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Only complaints no reading light in bedroom and difficulties connecting to internet. The hotel is very good, the staff very kind., Dont have a frigobar , but this is not a problem. The weather was hot, so we were lucky that we were on the first floor and could sleep with the windows open. The lack of airconditioning could be a problem for other rooms. There was no outdoor area to sit, other that immediately ouside the ground floor rooms, which would have impinged upon their privacy. Very little, the quirky electrics trying to get the wall lights to come one requires a combination of switches. A little noise from the adjacent school but nothing to worry about. Nothing to dislike. Access to small car park. Their was not anything to dislike. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. No Air Conditioning. It was a hot, late-July evening. Probably okay most times of year. Not easy to find if you don't have a sat nav. no negatives. Slow internet. Single bed was too narrow for comfortable sleep. But then, it was my mistake, I should have booked a double bed. Outside area didn't look very inviting but since it was pouring the whole time we were there might not have been easy to judge. No kettle or other beverages available in room. After a long day sightseeing, you sometimes need a coffee/hot drink in the room to relax, especially when it's freezing outside. the building no soap,. Difficulty finding it...also, I felt was overpriced for what was offered ... No air condition or fan on hot summer night.
