This bed and breakfast was fantastic! We traveled with three kids: 16, 16 and 10. We had the 2 bedroom manor suite which had lovely views of the Loire River. The owner was fabulous. She gave the kids bread to feed the goats, showed them how to puck cherries from her cherry tree and introduced them to her dogs. My kids were in heaven and did not want to leave!

We had a truly lovely stay at Le Chai De La Paleine. Our room was clean and roomy and very comfortable. The property has a large garden - perfect for spending an afternoon relaxing, drinking wine and eating cheese :-). The breakfast was delicious. And although we didn't use it, the guest kitchen is a fabulous idea if you want to cook your own meals. Le Puy Notre Dame is a beautiful little village and with a car you can easily access all on offer in the Loire region.
