Our hostess was wonderful. She sent us emails prior to arrival and replied to our questions promptly. She helped us make arrangements for restaurants and suggested excellent places to visit. Her house is furnished with beautiful art. Our rooms were equally beautiful, spacious, comfortable and with a magnificent bathroom! We would not hesitate to come back.

Owners made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. They recommended a local restaurant which they booked for us and it turned out to be fabulous .
Location was rural as expected and the Chateau was set in a idyllic setting and furnishings just fantastic .

Everything about the gite was excellent, from Mme de Hillerin the owner, to the location and ambiance of the whole place. Plenty of room to park, comfy beds, brilliant kitchen and original tomette floors downstairs. We would have happily stayed for a fortnight. 25 minutes from Puy du Fou which was the object of the trip.

Jean-Yves is really really an excellent chef.. if you stay there.. you HAVE TO DINE there... at least one night.. we ended up dining there every night... when we got back home and if ppl ask our daughter her favourite place during the trip, she would answer Chateau Du Beugnon.. she got to help Nicolle did some gardening and picking up eggs...

The owner Bruno was very helpful during our stay at these amazing castle. The rooms were fantastic and huge. When it was very warm during our stay in Saumur the swimming pool was great. The castle is located just outside Saumur and it's easy to get into saumur which is a very nice town for shopping and have a lot of restaurants. The gates to the castle is also looked at nights so it feels really safe to have the car there.

This bed and breakfast was fantastic! We traveled with three kids: 16, 16 and 10. We had the 2 bedroom manor suite which had lovely views of the Loire River. The owner was fabulous. She gave the kids bread to feed the goats, showed them how to puck cherries from her cherry tree and introduced them to her dogs. My kids were in heaven and did not want to leave!
