Location is perfect, a short walk from the town centre, but set back from the road, so quiet and peaceful. Convenient for restaurants, cafes and food shops. It has lovely grounds, a nice swimming pool, and secure parking. Owners were welcoming and very helpful: a problem with a TV resolved immediately – excellent restaurant recommendation. Wow!! The property is next to the river Loire and easy to find. On arrival we were met by the lovely friendly couple who own the Chambres dHotes working on their part of the caves. Spending the night in a cave that feel modern and has a swimming pool is great! The owner is very welcoming. You feel like you are staying at a friend's home. The yard is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. You can bring a picnic with you. We were able to use the refrigerator. There is a large TV and leather sofa in the common area. The rooms are cozy and well decorated. The shower is nice also. The breakfast was good. Convienient location for seeing Amboise and nearby chateaux.
