I chose this hotel for reasons of cost (it was on special offer); location (near to the Gare de Lyon, but in a fairly quiet side street); ratings and comments from previous customers. It represented good value for money: only 120 euros for a two night stay. My room was quiet, as requested. It was small, but big enough for my purposes. The ensuite was particularly 'charmant'. Staff were helpful.

I would definitely stay there again.The Hotel Viator's location is incredible -- train station, major Metro stop, lots and lots of restaurants, cafes etc., internet cafe, large food store, bakeries -- everything you could want, and all within a five minute walk from the hotel. Room was quite large and very comfortable and kept very clean. During the day it's a bit noisy if you have the window open, but at night it's almost silent. Fantastic bathroom and comfortable bed. Modern bathroom with excellent lighting, discrete and effective air-conditioning in room, friendly and helpful receptionist. Really close to the Gare De Lyon metro station, no changes to get to Disney. Very clean room, good air conditioning. Internet access through hotel laptop. Great resturants nearby.We stayed for 2 days. Its economical and value for money. Located at the main railwaystation and easy access to all trasportation including metro. They have maintained cleanliness and good hotel staff. The location was good (near Gare de Lyon -> metro and rer lines). Pricewas quite low for such good ratings. No international TV program (TV5 Monde or CNN). No soap dish in the shower!. Slightly small room for the price but it's location made up for that. Hotel rooms are small in size. Very small.The wardrobe was a little bit small and did not have any shelves. breakfast not special; one can easy find better nearby.The room was quite small and the lift door opened directly on to ourbedroom door which was noisy at times. We also requested a smoking roomand although it wasn't stated that we couldn't smoke there was noashtray provided. We could also have used some Do Not Disturb signs asthe maid unlocked our door twice quite early in the morning. Quite cold in rooms at night.
