The location: in Bastille, a couple of kilometers away from the most interesting stuff, the Louvre, Notre Dame, etc. Easily walkable. Also, near the Gare de Lyon train station. There are a lot of coffeeshops and most importantly, supermarkets, nearby.
The room was nice, nothing remarkable but clean and large enough. The staff was also very nice and helpful.
In fact I didn't stay at the hotel but booked it for two of our grandchildren and a friend. They enjoyed their stay and found the hotel very convenient for the Gare de Lyon and transport to Charles de Gaulle.all reviews »
Recently refurbished charming room. Very spacious and clean. Situated on a quiet side street but only five minutes walk from Gare de Lyon.
Staff was very friendly, competent, and helpful. The location, five minutes from the train station was also a big plus.
The people are very friendly and the hotel is well situated near the Gare de Lyon. It's a silence place.
Location's perfect. Facilities are convenient.
Breakfast served as early as 5:30 am.

Staff was very helpful. The hotel is really close to Gare de Lyon (a 5 minutes' walk). Walk 30 minutes and you are at Notre Dame.

Nothing actually. There's no elevator but the stairs are wide and easy to walk (carrying luggage is not a nightmare, unlike Amsterdam…). And it would be a plus if the rooms could have a minifridge, but it's nothing to worry about.

There was no lift at this hotel so my husband and I( age 65 and 63) had to drag two very heavy suitcases up three flights of stairs. No help offered from hotel staff. Was this lack of a lift mentioned on the letsbookhotel.com website?.
The room I had was quite small and the lighting was so poor it was impossible to read.
The rooms in the last floor has low celiling. The bathroom are very small.
The radiator was not heating in Rm #34 and I froze all night.

Very small bath with only hand shower, no taps. No safes in rooms. Very small rooms with angled ceiling, we are tall....when you bath the steam makes everything wet because so small, and you can't open the windows, because people can see you.

It is surrounded by sordid sex shops and nowhere near the good tourist areas.
Room on 3rd floor without a lift. Meant to be a superior room but not. Very basic in fact. No wifi access in room even though info stated there would be. Hotel was undergoing an exterior renovation therefore had builders right outside the window at 8am. Not very private !!!!.
