  The silence and the lack of fuss.The quality of the hotel. My room was number 15 which looked onto a small courtyard.I would recommend this room for a single traveler.   The hotel is newly refurbished, with modern/design furniture. The room isn't wide but fair for the Paris downtown area (old historical buildings). Very clean and full of free of charge amenities like minimal, WiFi, films and internet on tv. The best was the wonderful service, really kind and full of attention by the receptionist: Mr. Hasan (I beg ... what people say » you pardon insurance if the name is not correct!). Was impressive to us the warm welcome received, not really usual in Hotel. Sincerely Thanks to Mr. - The staff were really excellent - incredibly friendly and approachable, and helpful in every way. Really lovely people who were doing their best to help and make sure you had the most comfortable stay. Cannot recommend them enough. The hotel itself is a little on the small side, but the location is excellent and close to Metro, sightseeing, shopping, etc. Minibar (non-alcoholic) was also included in the room cost. I hope I get to return there some day, I really enjoyed myself.

  The hotel was in a great central location. It was a short walk to Notre Dame (I have a slight walking disability) but could handle the walk. The bus stop is directly across the street from the hotel and ATM's are next door or across the street. It was such a short walk to the Seine. The restaurants and shops were right there as you left the hotel!... what people say » The staff were courteous and friendly. We did not speak french but this did not interfere with having a wonderful time in Paris. People were very und - Brilliant location, with in easy walking distance of most central sites. Very clean and comfortable hotel. We felt our room and bathroom were quite spacious for an attic room in Paris. The price we paid was very competitive. We were at the back of the hotel and it was quiet at night.

  A super place to stay if you like Bastille and Marais. And the appartment was perfect for my daughter and I. We have used this hotel 6 times! And the staff is very helpful - Very clean, homelike room with kitchen facilities, close to the metro station and to all attractions in Marais area. Would come again.

I.e. this is a good locatio - The staff were really helpful and were happy to put our stroller in the cloak room each night so we didn't have to struggle with it in the tiny elevator. Also we had left a small item behind and they were happy to post it back to us. The rooms are small, but it was enough for our little 18 month old to roam around and stretch his legs.
