The proprietors were very welcoming and attentive and happy to greet us.
We had a beautiful room outlooking the courtyard with french doors and a
small balcony on which to sit (bliss - one morning I awoke to the birds
singing - who gets this in any city setting?). The bed was extremely
comfortable and whenever we needed anything tickets printed, a taxi to
the airport they were happy to do/arrange these things for us in
addition to help us navigate the city and recommend a great restaurant

This hotel is absolutely fantastic - it was renowated a year ago and now looks totally different - the interior is fresh, modern and full od fashionable design motives. In the comfort room there was a change of towels each day, hairdrier in the closet and free of charge safe. Location is perfect, next to Oberkampf metro station, and also near to the second one. The neighborhood is friendly and safe, full of brasserie's and shops, and also next to restaurant on the corner, where, late at night.
The hotel is very friendly and clean. Obviously recently renovated, it is modern and stylish. It is right in the heart of excellent shopping and food, but nowhere near the tourist areas so gives you a very authentic Paris experience. Our room faced the back courtyard and so looked out to other apartments, which added to the feeling of Paris life. The breakfast in the garden was great. Only 20 metres to the nearest Metro station (Oberkampf) so getting anywhere in the city was easy. Walk from the.
The hotel was ideally situated for touring around in Paris. Metro
station was steps away and there were plenty of restaurants and shops
close by. Walking distance to fun areas. Really clean and well designed
rooms and lovely garden area. Yes the rooms are small by North American
standards but we squeezed 2 adults and 2 teenage boys into one quad room
just fine. Hotel staff is there 24 hours (which seems like a bit of a
no-brainer to an American but is not always the case in small European
hotel.
Very nice hotel in a great location. Oberkampf metro stop right near
hotel, and it's about a 10-15 minute walk in to the heart of the
Marais district. Room was tiny, but spotlessly clean and newly
renovated. Great shower with rainfall shower head. Beds were very
comfortable and room looked out over nice little courtyard. We
didn't have the breakfast as it was 13 euro a person, but there is a
bakery and small convenience store near the hotel to pick up food and
drinks. Would definitely stay here.
Location very close to the Metro and yet quiet, except for some work on the street during workday mornings, but this was temporary. Beds very comfortable (we were 3 in the room since I was travelling with my parents) and both their and mine be were great. Both Bedroom and Bathroom are quite well decorated with good design, all working.

We really liked this hotel and would definately stay there again. The location was excellent for sightseeing, near to metro etc. The room was modern, pleasant, very clean, quiet and comfortable with a view over the garden. Excellent bathroom with large, powerful and hot shower. It's definately worth staying for the buffet breakfast which is very good and excellent value. The staff were all pleasant and welcoming. Great value in Paris! Location awesome, close to Metro and Rue
oberkampf. Has just been renovated, everything is brand new and spotless
clean. Nice design. Hairdryers have been ordered according to the very
nice owner. The rooms facing the beautiful courtyard are quiet and even
get sun in the evening! The breakfast is ok but you'll get something
better and with more atmosphere in one of the Café's in Marais for
the price!.
Excellent location for Metro or for walking to local amenities. Hotel comfortable and and thoughtfully refurbished on a quiet street, with a very comfortable bed so we slept soundly .Excellent facilities in bathroom, great shower too but room a bit on the small side.We there is also a lovely garden to relax in.

It was a really clean place. I think it was renovated in the last couple years, so it gives a different enviroment, stading out from hotels of that category and price. The staff was really helpfull and friendly, plus the location its great! just half block from a metro station and a couple more blocks from the republique. Nice nice nice.
The hotel has just been refurbished to good taste and comfort. The bed was great. We were able to sleep with the window open overlooking the garden and it was quiet and relaxing. The garden is a serious plus to the experience. We arrived earlier than planned and our room was ready. Very pleasant staff.
Lovely bathroom and pulsating power shower is marvellous. Quiet location but within easy range of variety of cafes, restaurants. Lovely garden and cosy and comfortable beds. Breakfast is quite versatile, with fruit salad, cereal choice, croissants, scrambled egg, toast etc. Helpful reception staff.
Locatie is very good close to metro and walking distance from everything like la marais with all kind of shops restaurants etc the hotel has eveything you need for a comfortable stay in a modern style with good beds rain shower free wifi and the breakfast for 13 euro is good friendly staff.
The remodelling was the best out of other 5 hotels I stayed at in Paris.
The best surprise was the neighbourhood. An older Parisian arrondissement reclaimed by young people. A 3-block strip of great restaurants and bars starts at the corner of the hotel.
Will certainly go back to Alhambra.
The breakfast was decent and the hotel is base in a very central location; it is near the Metro station. There are lots of local bars and cafes less than two minutes away. The hotel room was nice and it was also kept clean and fresh. The garden area for breakfast is fantastic.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help arrange taxi's, help with directions and even lending their own hairdryer to us. Metro only a few steps away or other shopping and nightlife all walking distance. Lovely family run hotel.
Our room was big enough and very clean. We were upgraded to the junior
suite so we were lucky. The location is great. It is near the metro and
within walking distance to many sights. We enjoyed our stay. The free

Very quaint and just what you would expect in central Paris. The Metro was so close and an easy and inexpensive way to travel. The garden was beautiful and we had breakfast there each morning. The recently renovated units were small but well appointed.

Smart, stylish hotel in a great location. Room bigger than you'd expect for Paris, with space for a generous and comfortable bed, plus a low table and two chairs. Lovely courtyard garden and free wifi. Shame there's no kettle.
This place is Quaint. It has neat rooms which are recently refurbished. The breakfast garden is lovely. It has a great location and there are alfresco cafes and restaurants everywhere. The metro is 50 meters from the door.
Lovely location, excellent staff, our third stay at this Hotel and we will be returning again next year. Lovely garden to relax in and have our meals in. The Hotel has been upgraded this year to an excellent standard.
Clean, easy access to subway, nice cafes within short walking distance, small Italian restaurant, around the corner, La Divina, 10 Blvd. du Temple (recommend). Safe area, queensize comfortable bed, nice shower.

The location (Oberkampf) is relatively easy to reach and feels like a safe area. Many chique bars and hangout joints around and the metro is less than a minutes walk from the hotel. Toilet is very grand.
Everything is perfect. The receiption is nice. The room is new and clean. The location is very convenient just next to line 5 and line 9. There is a small but beautiful garden to have breakfast or rest.

Location! It is almost next to the metro stop and you can easily access the main points through the metro! The staff was always helpful with anything we needed and the comfort met what we paid.
The hotel location is very convenient near by the metro station. The room , as usual in Paris is little but is very nice decorated and causy. The area is nice with a lot of bistro and shops.
Alhambra has a beautiful inner court garden and airco which made oppressing summer heat so much more bearable. Rooms are small ( we are in Paris aftervall) but very comfortable. Great beds!.
The hotel looked newly refurbished, the room was clean and tidy and the courtyard garden was perfect for a late night glass of wine. The breakfast was nice, but maybe a little overpriced.

The location was fantastic and the staff helpful. They provided a map of the city and explained which metro lines took you to the main sights. I would definately stay there again.

The hotel is told to be 2-stars standard, but I think it should now be 3 stars!!! The price is a liitle bit to high for 2-stars, but don't get angry, because the service is worth it as you feel like living in 3-stars hotel.
Breakfast is great, but expensive. If you want something light, take the
time to explore the local cafes for a coffee/croissant.
The room was tiny and we had to put one of the suitcases on a chair in
order to be able to walk around the room. Also, the smoke alarms in the
hotel went off twice during our 4 night stay, both by accident, once
around 12:30 am, and the other time around 10 am. I suppose it's
better to have over-sensitive alarms than ones that don't work, but
still it was a bit annoying.
The elevator is really small and one of the 4 days we were there it was not working. This was a little issue for my mom that is not able to go up and down stairs easily anymore. There is one of the attendants at night that was not really nice, not a problem but did not make us few welcome. We found it strange because the others (all the rest of the staff) was great.
A minor point really but because the only mirror in the room was in the wardrobe tricky to stretch cable for hairdryer but not sure how this could be overcome.
The room was small.The bathroom was well designed for such a small space. However, when you have a shower, there is water in the whole space, including the toilet. It was not a serious issue; we simply put a towel on the floor.
Bedroom space is quite tight.
I had to pay for the hotel when I arrived, I would have preferred to have been charged online. The hotel was pretty expensive considering the facilities are not outstanding. TheThere were no telephones in the hotel bedrooms and there were not a lot of variety with the foods at breakfast . The bar at the end of the road charges half the price for breakfast.
The room was a bit small, and has a small closet, however it was very confortable. I wish there had been a mini-fridge in the room.

An overzealous chambermaid threw out a bag of my shopping (worth 50
euros). Fortunately I was able to retrieve it.
Room size: you can barely turn around.
Bedroom small but not mch time spent there.
Guess what, all the rooms are not equipped with mini-refrigirator and dryers. You have to borrow dryers from the reception counter and there're only "5" dryers there. Moreover, it will clean your room, but it won't replace your towels and refill your shampoo and shower gel. Last, you may have to pay whilce check-in and wait 40~60 mins to get your room.
room was small but comfortable , from hotel description I understood they had an airport shuttle , this is only available from hotel to airport not arrivals ,and is extra cost . toilet was higher off floor than normal, my feet did not touch the ground . a small fridge would have been nice.
Room was very compact, tight squeeze with luggage, reception didnt verify our identity before giving us the room key, breakfast spread was limited thus we didnt add the buffet breakfast but generally we had a very pleasant stay. Recommended!.
