1) Location, less than 100m walk away from Metro - Oberkampf. Ideal station to move around in Paris.If you have heavy luggage, carry luggages up and down the metro stairs can be a chore BUT the hotel proximity to bring you almost everywhere in Paris weighs over all that stairs. 2) Though they dont provide kettles in the room but the Reception gentleman never fail to turn me down when I requested for hot water every night. Instantly he will heat up the flask and pour me a cup without fretting.
all reviews » The hotel was really clean, they would come in the room everyday to check if you had clean towels etc. They didn't steal anything from the room The room was small but very pretty for how little we paid The metro station is 1 min away and if you walk straight you arrive at Place de la Republique which has plenty of bars and places to eat. The hotel location was excellent, 2mins to the metro, the room was quite clearn, good for value,the staff was very very friendly, kind to help, they all speak good English, we feel so comfortable stay in Mary's hotel. Thank you very much. Hotel is local closely with Metor of Oberkampf ony 20 Meter. Although the room is small, it's clean and have shower independently. In addition,it's quiet and No smoking. It was perfect for us for night. Small room where you can sleep after a long trip in the city and that is all you need. The receptionist was nice and friendly. Location. nothing. 1) Our room is located on the 1st floor (above the Reception floor). If you are a light sleeper, it can be kinda of noisy in the night. The girl in reciption is seldom smell, just I check out to smell and say goodbye, but 2 of men is good. We didn't have any problems so no complaints. The double bed consisted of two single beds pushed together. Internet reception was spotty in room. It was rather cold in the room. No complaints. I booked a room with no view and really small, that should be mentioned when you are booking the room. Room size is too small for triple room. The room is very small Only one plug No pillow but still I spent a good night . Wifi worked only in the reception room. They renovated something during our stay, so it was noisy during the day. Everything is ok but a little bit of fresh paint and a more thorough cleaning, maybe new faucets are something that could help make a stay more pleasant. But after all - a good value for money. The room was VERY small and the en suite facilities were cramped. The room had no aircon and the room had a slight smell from water damages. The bed sheets had holes there was no bin in the room or tea/coffee facilities. For the price I would have expected a little more the room was very small but i expect this in Paris but don't expect holes in bed sheets !. the bed sheet is a bit dirty. Very small rooms. the quilt really need to be washed,it's very very dirty! i guess you guys never wash it?and the room is too small, come on! too small! i can't even totally open the door of the bathroom as it would touch the bed when i was living in the double room. There is no space to put your tooth brash and toilet kit and the washbasin is too small to wash your face. The shower itself is the poorest thing of all. It doesn't give you hot water long enough to wash throughout your body. On purpose? or just the boiler is too small?. The door man late at night was a bit rash. He could only speak French and wasn't very welcoming. A few of my friends found bites, and could have been from the bed. - VERY small room (just for the bed and little table with a chair which you have to move to enter the bathroom) - 1st night we had no hot water in the bathroom (good thing is that when we asked to repair it, we got another room where it was good) - both rooms were pretty dirty (a lot of bugs in both rooms, when we informed the owner, he told us that there were just ants and that was all he did). wall very thin, you can hear every whisper from the aisle. The bathroom was ridiculously small. The staff is so rude. I never ever been treat like that in my whole life. They are so rude. They got in our room and they throw things away whithout asking if they could. The guy at reception was the rudest guy in Paris. The whole hotel smell so bad, I asked them not clean my room because everytime they clean it was horrible. Even when I asked, they did. The worse experience with hotels ever. - mold on curtain and shower wall - dirty - stained sheets - can't make calls out - toilet sounded like it was running all night and had another screeching noise. Dirty blankets,dirty bathroom.... we spent nearly one hour to find a parking place for our car. This hotel is not suitable for those who bring car. Very small rooms. It is impossible even to hear TV when somebody in the neighbouring room uses a bathroom. Price for the breakfast is 7.50 euros - at the table: 1 kind of cheese, one kind of bacon, one type of juice, no fruits. No dryer in the bathroom. Staff hardly spoke any English and weren't sure about parking conditions in the street of the hotel. There was no carpet on the floor inside the room. The door was awfully heavy and not convenient to open/close. Small dirty stuffy room, poor sound insulation. Definitely the smallest bathroom i have ever seen. I stayed there for one night. The room provided looks clean but I was bitten by small bugs all over my body during the night!!! Although I told the staff, nothing changed. I stayed awake till the morning... so rubish. Service, small and stuffy room, extremelly small and stuffy bathroom, dirty walls, uncomfortable bed, not value for money at all. the bathroom is more than little (1m2), not functional, the bedroom ist very very little, the view ist bad.
