I was about to change the hotel when i came from the airport by train via the huge Perrache railway station. i always avoid big stations where criminalities are daily routines. However, the helpful and friendly hotel staffs showed me the other direction where is 7 mins on foot to metro and the landmark "Bellecour". I am very impressed by the warm hospitality of the Lyonnais.

We chose Hotel du Siimplon as I read a review there was a laundromat around the corner which I knew we would need by then. The laundromat was clean, great price, and easy to access from hotel. It is a charming facility, with great staff. I would stay there again. It is only one block from the city square with lots of activities and shopping. -
